Chapter 11

~ Tenelle ~

With all that is going on, no one noticed Mary-Anne come onto the territory. She must have come with some of the other guests for the meeting.

“Can’t become a god when your dead!” Mary-Anne says with a cruel smile.

“Can’t die when the wound isn’t fatal!” I snap, she’s sent backwards, and I don’t understand how until I see Nazareth.

“You really need to pay more attention little owl.” He says coming in front of me. He’s in his wolf and standing over 7 feet tall.

“How are you bigger than Levi?” I ask completely not paying attention to what is happening around me. He smiles and leans down to lick my stomach; I can already feel the damage inside my body knitting itself back together. I watch as Mary-Anne gets back up and starts to come at me again. She isn’t quick enough due to the injuries I inflicted to her weeks ago. They are not healing well. Actually, I think they are infected and from the blood she spit out has become septic.

“You fucking mutt! I am going to kill all of you!” Mary-Anne screams and starts to run towards Nazareth and me. Just as she is about to slash at Nazareth, her right hand contorts into a disgusting angle. She screams like she is being killed, dropping the knife, and causing everyone around the Theater to watch. Then her left leg below the knee does the same thing and twists into a sickening angle. Her other arm and leg do the same all at once and she is screaming in pain. There is a sudden snap and Mary-Anne goes silent. She is still screaming but there is no sound coming from her lips.

“Fuck that is better. Wow, that is some seriously gross torture! Who was that creative?” Hecate asks looking at the other gods. The look on their faces says they are not responsible.

“I did, thought it was fitting considering what she did to Tenelle, Hayden and I.” Mitchel says just as his eyes go back from being black. He must have let out some serious dark energy on Mary-Anne. Her eyes go wide when she looks at Mitchel, then she looks at me and realizes I am covered in mate marks. She looks paler and paler by the minute as Levi, Enox, Nazareth and Mitchel all come to me, each giving me a possessive kiss and groping me hard.

“Could you let her have her voice back? If she screams, then I’ll just rip her throat out. Deal?” Enox asks Hecate. The goddess has a serious evil smile going, she is enjoying this way too much. Before she lets Mary-Anne have her voice, Tank shows up with this jug marked “Cleaner” and the smile he has is just as evil as Hecate’s.

“She’s human Tank, that won’t work I don’t think.” I say and he just smiles at me. Hecate gives Mary-Anne her voice back and we are wondering if Enox is going to get to rip out her throat.
